IMPROVE IKU 2 AND 6, DKV PROGRAM FSR ISI YOGYAKARTA AND BPK WIL X READY TO DO MBKM

The Faculty of Fine Arts, ISI Yogyakarta, is ready for out-of-class learning. Partners consisting of the industrial world and government agencies / institutions have been prepared to support out-of-class learning through internship programs. Through the umbrella of the Merdeka 2024 Campus Competition Program (PKKM), DKV Study Program has designed activities and sub-activities to improve the quality of learning, one of which is through internship programs at several partners, both in the city and outside the city. One of them is the Cultural Preservation Center Wil X. D.I Yogyakarta (BPK WIL X)

On this day, Wednesday, July 31, 2024. Located at Dalem Joyodipuran, BPK Office, Jl. Brigjen Katamso No.139, Keparakan, Kec. Mergangsan, Yogyakarta City. DKV Study Program and BPK held the handover of internship students. 10 students have passed the selection to take part in the learning process at BPK Wil. X for the next 4 months.

Through this program, it can provide benefits for the parties, both for DKV Study Program, BPK WIL X and for increasing student competence. Student involvement in out-of-class activities, such as internships, can contribute to the increase in key performance indicator point 2 (KPI 2) and also contribute to KPI 6 related to the cooperation program of the Indonesian Institute of Arts Yogyakarta (ISI YK). This year, the output of cooperation produced by the DKV Study Program is 12 collaborations, so it is expected to contribute to the increase in IKU 6.

The handover activity was attended by Daru Tunggul Aji, as the head of DKV study program, Alit Ayu Dewantari, as the internship supervisor at BPK WIL X, and from the partner was attended by Winarto, as the Head of Subdivision of BPK Region X, as well as several staff from BPK Joyodipuran unit Ernawati Purwaningsih, S.Si., M.Sc,. Wahyu Kristanto, S.S., and also Subiyantoro.

The ten students will participate in collaborating in cultural preservation activities, so that they can provide academic and non-academic experiences as well as good research opportunities for students.
