One Strategy in Improving the Quality of Scientific Writing of FSR ISI Yogyakarta Lecturers.

The series of Scopus indexed writing training activities at the Faculty of Fine Arts ISI Yogyakarta ended on Sunday, June 20, 2021. The activity, which starts every Friday to Sunday, and runs for 5 weeks, has been attended by approximately 100 lecturers in the Faculty of Fine Arts ISI Yogyakarta. This includes senior lecturers and junior lecturers who were just accepted last year. Not only that, there are even some tendik participating in this activity. As said by the dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts, ISI Yogyakarta, that the purpose of this workshop is to improve the quality of teaching staff in mastering Scopus indexed journal writing, which ultimately leads to an increase in the ranking of content institutions at the national and even world levels. This workshop activity was attended by almost 100% from lecturers at the Faculty of Fine Arts. In this activity, the Vice Rector 1, 2, and 3 also participated in various workshop sessions. Notes from the committee, only 9 lecturers did not have time to participate because there were other activities that could not be left. On this occasion the Assistant Dean I of FSR ISI Yogyakarta, Dr. Yulriawan, M.Hum. said that "this Scopus indexed journal writing workshop training activity, it is hoped that at least 10 % from the total number participating in the training, can be accepted and published in Scopus indexed international journals at the end of this year or next year. So that it can help the Institution in improving its ranking. In addition, hopefully this activity will be sustainable in the coming years and become a trigger of enthusiasm for teaching staff within the FSR, so that writing indexed journals becomes a new habit besides continuing to create works of art. It is also hoped that this kind of workshop can be followed by other Faculties within our beloved Institution ".
Scopus indexed writing training activities at the Faculty of Fine Arts were officially closed by the Dean of FSR and attended by PDI, PDII, PD III and the last batch of participants and resource persons (Scopus House).
