The Faculty of Fine Arts and Design (FSRD), Institut Seni Indonesia Yogyakarta, in an activity organized by the Directorate General of Higher Education and the Directorate of Learning and Student Affairs (Belmawa) is committed to fostering student creativity and innovation through the Student Creativity Program (PKM). This program is an effort to implement the Tridharma of Higher Education and encourage students to develop creative ideas that can be applied in various fields, especially fine arts and design. PKM, which has undergone various updates, now utilizes web-based information technology to facilitate its implementation and introduce new categories that are relevant to the development of today's creative industry.
For FSRD ISI Yogyakarta students, PKM is an important platform to hone critical and innovative thinking skills and form an adaptive and independent character. The faculty encourages students to actively participate in PKM, both through research, community service, and creative entrepreneurship development. Participation in PKM also has a direct impact on improving individual student achievement and faculty reputation in the national scope.
The implementation of PKM at ISI Yogyakarta is in line with the efforts of the Directorate General of Diktiristek in supporting the achievement of the Main Performance Indicators (IKU), which aims to increase the number of outstanding students. In the midst of pandemic challenges, the Faculty of Fine Arts and Design ISI Yogyakarta continues to adapt through various online and offline-based activities and maximizes the use of digital technology so that the program continues to run well.
