For friends who love photography and love architectural works, we invite you to attend the opening of the ARCHITECTURE PHOTO EXHIBITION entitled "WHEN SIMPLICITY SPEAKS" designed by Eugene Pradipto: SATURDAY, MAY 12, 2012 at 17.00 WIB at Bentara Budaya Yogyakarta. The exhibition will be opened by Prof. Ir. Eko Budihardjo, Msc.
Eugene Pradipto, is a lecturer at the UGM Department of Architecture. One of his works "temporary housing" for victims of the eruption of Mount Merapi in Sidomoro Village, Muntilan, has earned him the 2011 Karya Konstruksi Indonesia (KKI) award from the Ministry of Public Works. His works exude a strong character, simplicity, and have become an inspiration to his surroundings. The photos that will be exhibited are part of the documentation of Eugene Pradipto's works.
This exhibition is organized by the Jaran Goyang Community which is a forum for architects, both alumni and students who are studying at the Department of Architecture, Faculty of Engineering UGM. Thank you.
