Nawanata is the inaugural exhibition of the 2019 batch of students of the Department of Fine Arts ISI Yogyakarta.
In this exhibition, the first semester Pure Art students intend to introduce their class - as well as their artistic potential - to the big family of ISI Yogyakarta, especially the Faculty of Fine Arts ISI Jogja. This art exhibition presents works of painting, graphic arts and sculpture that are very interesting, considering that their study process is not even 1 semester but has been able to produce works of art that are important to be appreciated.

On the 3rd day, Tuesday, December 3, 2019, there was also a Graphic Arts Workshop, as a side event of Nawanata Art Exhibition. The workshop material will be directly taught by a lecturer & graphic cukil artist, AC Andre Tanama, M.Sn. The ihik lecturer who a few days ago returned from Hungary - also to teach / give a Cukil Graphic Arts Workshop, is now returning to Sewon to share the art of cukil printing to workshop participants consisting of high school / vocational school children, students, and the public. The workshop took place at ISI Jogja's Fine Arts Plaza, from 2pm to 6pm. The works of the workshop participants were also presented at Fadjar Sidik Gallery alongside Nawanata's works.
