On Thursday, October 23, 2014 the Faculty of Fine Arts ISI Yogyakarta, especially the Visual Communication Design Study Program, had a guest visit from students of SMKN Tepeh Lumajang, DKV Department. A total of 61 students and 3 accompanying teachers were received by the Head of DKV Study Program, Head of Education Subdivision, and Head of Student Affairs Subdivision in the DKV Study Program Lecture Room. On that occasion, the Head of Education Subdivision (Jaka Sudarna, SIP) gave a speech and explained about matters relating to the Faculty of Fine Arts ISI Yogyakarta such as Departments / Prodi owned by the Faculty of Fine Arts ISI Yogyakarta, and the most interest by prospective FSR students, namely the DKV Study Program. From SMKN Tempeh Lumajang also gave a speech about the purpose of visiting the Faculty of Fine Arts Visual Communication Design Study Program is one of them wants to provide briefing to students of SMKN Tempeh Lumajang before doing industrial practice. He also expressed his gratitude for the permission to visit given by the FSR ISI Yogyakarta, he also hopes that some of his students can continue to the Visual Communication Design Program FSR ISI Yogyakarta.
After the Head of Education Subdivision opened and the representative of SMKN Tempeh Lumajang gave a speech, the program was continued by Drs. Hartono Karnadi, M.Sn. (Head of Visual Communication Design Study Program FSR ISI Yogyakarta). He encouraged the students and motivated them by showing the Final Project works of DKV students, with the hope that students can be creative from now on in order to become reliable animators.
After feeling enough, the students were invited to the Gallery in the Visual Communication Design Study Program, of course they were very enthusiastic to see the work of DKV students guided by the Head of DKV Study Program (Drs. Hartono Karnadi, M.Sn.). Not to forget before saying goodbye the FSR gave mementos to SMKN Tempeh Lumajang and vice versa.
