Open Call for Proceedings Writing
Art, Craft, and Design in Southeast Asia: In the Era of Creative Industry - 2017
(ARCADESA#1)
Open to art lecturers, master's program students and doctoral programs, the theme of the writing according to the specified theme. The writing can be sent through the committee's email, dafriyulriawan@gmail.com or yulyta_kodrat@yahoo.co.uk no later than November 6, 2017. The writing requirements are as follows:
1. The writing has never been published before by any media or journal, and does not contain elements of plagiarism with a written statement from the author.
2. The writing is the result of research, study, conceptual ideas, application of theory, ideas, opinions or criticism with art as the material object.
3. The paper should be written in Indonesian or English. Word count 5000-6500, including abstract and bibliography. The paper is typed in Times New Roman font size 11, Justify, 1.5 spacing on quarto size paper (Author's name, abstract and text using font 11).
4. All writing is in essay form and contains:
a. Title (Comprehensive and Clear. The title of the paper, section titles, and sub-sections are bolded. The title of the paper uses font size 13. The title is written in Indonesian or English. The title is no more than 15 words.
b. Name and Address of Author without academic degree. The author's address is written below the Name, along with the origin of the institution and an active email address.
c. Abstract (100-150 words each) using font size 11, space 1, written in English and Indonesian. For abstracts, it is prohibited to use google translate to avoid confusion.
d. Keywords in the Abstract consist of (3-5 words)
e. INTRODUCTION (description without subchapters) which contains: (Background of the Problem, Problem Formulation, Literature Review, Conceptual Foundation, Research Methods).
f. DISCUSSION (presented in subchapters, clearly presented and discussed)
g. CONCLUSION (expressing the answer to the problem that is the focus of the study).

1. LITERATURE, References must be used and listed in the text.
5. Notes in the form of references are written in full as bodynotes, while author's information that is deemed important, such as the meaning/meaning of certain terms, is written.
as an endnote. Example of a Bodynote: (Graham, 1997: 23-25) for the end of the
sentence, (1997: 23-25) for in the middle of a sentence.
6. Quotations of more than four lines are typed single-spaced with a new line. Quotations of less than two lines are written as sentence connections and inserted into the text using quotation marks.
7. Authors in the Bibliography as follows (Chicago Manual Of Style): author's name with
format: last name(,) first name(.)Title of the book in italics, (while the title of the article is written in quotation marks followed by the title of the journal, magazine or anthology in italics)(.) Name of the city of publication(:) Name of the Publisher(.) Year of publication(.).Bibliography is written in alphabetical and chronological order.

10. When a table, photograph or drawing is included, it must be accompanied by a description of the number, the title of the photograph, the source and the year it was taken or made. Images must be clear and representative. The writing of the image caption uses 9pt font size. Images attached must have the permission or approval of the object of the image. Attach the images separately from the writing, with good quality in jpeg format. Image resolution is at least 150 dpi, or in tif format.
11. Papers can be submitted via email (yulyta_kodrat@yahoo.co.uk) using Microsoft Word data processor, or similar.
12. Certainty of posting will be notified in writing via email or sms. Papers that are not published will not be returned. If the article is included in the journal, the author is required to sign an agreement with the journal.
13. Authors are expected to revise their writing according to the wishes of the reviewers or editors
14. Authors whose articles are published will receive two copies as proof of publication and three loose-leaf copies.
15. The editor has the authority to set the publishing time and writing format according to the writing instructions.
16. The editor does not bear the content of the published article, the published article is the responsibility of the author.
17. The author's biodata is written on a separate sheet (including full name, education, occupation, name of workplace institution, telephone number, scientific work in the last three years).
