Humrotin, a Visual Communication Design student at ISI Yogyakarta, won the 2016 West Java PON XIX Logo competition after beating 500 competitors to take home the grand prize of Rp 50 million. The Lamongan native took only a short time to come up with the idea and submitted her work during the last week of the competition. The logo, which has a philosophical meaning about everything about West Java, she traced information through the internet combined with her mastery of scientific disciplines so that the Kujang, which reflects the characteristics of West Java, the torch fire and six colored circles that are identical to PON, became the best choice in front of the judges in the West Hall of Gedung Sate, Jalan Diponegoro Bandung, Saturday, March 8, 2014.

Humrotin explained the concept that there are five colored parts that symbolize the five fingers of the human hand. It also means that the implementation of PON XIX is in the grip of West Java as the host. Then for the red-colored Kujang head and placed at the top means courage and strength. This gives the meaning that people who are strong and have high spirits will become PON XIX champions in West Java. The torch flame symbolizes the spirit. In addition, to add to the aesthetics of his work there is a black color to strengthen it all at the bottom and the words 'PON XIX West Java 2016' So this logo is like a Kujang being held with five fingers united.

Humrotin told reporters after the announcement of the winners of the 2016 West Java PON XIX Logo and Mascot Competition in the West Hall of Gedung Sate, Jalan Diponegoro Bandung, Saturday (8/3/2014).

In addition to Humrotin as the winner, there is still a runner up and third winner won by participants from Bandung City, namely Agung Setiawan and Setiwan. The runner up received Rp 20 million, and the third winner received Rp 10 million.

West Java Governor Ahmad Heryawan as Chairman of the 2016 PON XIX West Java PB delivered the announcement of the winner of the PON Logo and Mascot Competition. Heryawan chose Humrotin from the top three nominees chosen by the Jury chaired by Prof. Dr. Setiawan Sabana.
