In order to encourage the Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi program for lecturers in their scientific development, FSR ISI Yogyakarta in the 2018/2019 academic year held an International Journal Writing Workshop activity program for lecturers, which was held on October 04, 2018 at Sasana Ajiyasa Building Lt.2 FSR ISI Yogyakarta, at 08.30 - 16.00 WIB with the speakers namely Prof. Yoyok Wahyu Subroto, M.Eng., Ph.D.(Lecturer of Architectural Engineering UGM Yogyakarta).
Along with the Kemenristekdikti Belmawa program that encourages international journal writing for lecturers. In particular, this program is intended to trigger a climate of scientific writing for lecturers along with the opportunity to write in internationally accredited fine arts journals, but does not rule out the possibility of writing in nationally accredited journals. Guidance and mentoring from experts who are competent in writing accredited journals both nationally and internationally are required. Through this workshop, lecturers are expected to gain skills and knowledge mastery from experts who are competent in their fields so that they can penetrate the possibility of being accepted and published in accredited journals both nationally and internationally.
The objectives of this activity are:
- Encouraging the writing of national and international accredited international journals for lecturers
- Supporting the Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi program for lecturers in developing their knowledge.
- Encourage the increase of lecturers' rank from Lektor to Lektor Kepala.
- Fostering a climate of writing scientific journals with national and international capacity for lecturers
- Support ISI Yogyakarta's Strategic Plan 2015-2019 program
