Antonius Hendro Purwoko's Solo Exhibition "Sambang Sambung Malioboro"

Taking place at Bentara Budaya Yogyakarta, December 10-18, 2019, a solo exhibition marked Hendro Purwoko's retirement as a lecturer at the Interior Design Study Program, Faculty of Fine Arts, Intitut Seni Indonesia Yogyakarta as of October 1, 2019.
Sketches of Malioboro, Tugu Station, Governor's Office, Beringharjo Market, Ngejaman, Museum Benteng Vredeburg, Ketandan, Sosrowijayan Area, buildings in the Zero Kilometer Point area and human interest in the vicinity became Mr. Hendro's spontaneous visual record in responding to and voicing the dynamism of Yogyakarta's most important cultural area.

The chairman of the exhibition committee, Godod Sutejo, said that this solo exhibition is a form of Hendro Purwoko's responsibility as an artist in the creative process in idealism to establish his existence.
This exhibition is also a celebration of Hendro Purwoko's achievements as an artist and as an art teacher.

The exhibition curated by Prof. Dr. Martinus Dwi Marianto, M.FA, Ph.D. was opened by the Rector of ISI Yogyakarta, Prof. Dr. Agus Burhan M.Hum, on Tuesday evening, December 10, 2019. On this occasion, a Book of Memories from Hendro Purwoko's Friends was presented, which was handed over by the Dean of FSR Dr. Suastiwi M.Des. shortly before the opening of the Exhibition. The Book of Memories is an offering from friends compiled and coordinated by Dony Arsetyasmoro M.Ds, Ivada Ariyani M.Des and Anom Wibisono M.Sc. as an offering of friendship.
