Craft Laboratory

Department of Crafts, Faculty of Fine Arts and Design provides 5 laboratories specialized laboratories with different material focuses, namely Wood, Ceramics, Leather, Metal, and Textiles. Each laboratory has facilities such as a concept design room, production area (manual & machine tools), finishing room, and supports experimentation, research, and development of traditional-contemporary value-based products. Laboratory facilities are continuously developed to meet educational standards and the needs of the creative industry.

Textile Craft Laboratory
Location: Textile & Leather Craft Building, Floor 1-2
Specialized spaces: Batik, Coloring, Patterning, Sewing, Weaving, Mannequins
Focus: Batik, weaving, & fiber material exploration. For D4 DMKB study, the focus is on producing batik-based fashion
Facilities:

The Craft Department, Faculty of Fine Arts and Design, opens opportunities for lecturers, students, and external partners to utilize the Craft Laboratory to support various academic and non-academic activities, such as practicum, workshops, technical guidance, and the like.
