October 18, 2024, ISI Yogyakarta's Interior Design Study Program successfully held a seminar that presented Judy Pranata, an architect and owner of JP Studio, as a guest speaker. The event was attended by more than 150 interior design students.
In the seminar, Judy Pranata, who is a member of the Indonesian Institute of Architects, explained that architecture, which focuses on building design, is closely related to interior design. She emphasized the importance for students to pay attention to context, both the context of users, buildings, and the surrounding environment.
Students were enthusiastic and active in asking questions, so the discussion was interactive. The insights provided by Judy Pranata were very helpful in expanding students' understanding of the importance of integration between interior design and architecture.
This seminar is expected to provide inspiration and new insights for students in pursuing the field of interior design.
