Open Studio Lecturer FSRD ISI Yogyakarta Geber Exhibition "Method(o)logic"

Repost KRJOGJA.com, YOGYA - After the exhibition "Riwayat" as an introduction to the open studio to enjoy the creative process of work, the painting lecturers-pure artists, Faculty of Fine Arts (FSR) ISI Yogyakarta continues the open studio program with the exhibition "Method(o)logic", at Fadjar Sidik Gallery FSR ISI Yogyakarta 27 August-30 September 2024.

"Participated by 7 artists who are also active lecturers at the Department of Fine Arts, ISI Yogyakarta, namely Amir Hamzah, Deni Junaedi, I Gede Arya Sucitra, M. Agus Burhan, Setyo Priyo Nugroho, Wiyono and YF Yudhistira," said exhibition curator Satrio Hari Wicaksono who is also a lecturer in Fine Arts to KRjogja.com, Thursday (29/8).

The "Method(o)logic" exhibition showcases the creation process carried out during the open studio. "As a result of the open studio process, the process of discussion, dialogue and input from many parties during the program, both internally and for the public, certainly provides more or less additional perceptions and perspectives for the artists," he explained.

The process of 'maturation' is what the artists want to present in this exhibition. "This exhibition is also expected to provide benefits for the academic environment and the public at large, namely providing space for lecturers to produce art consistently, fostering space for artistic activities for lecturers and students,

"It also provides additional experience and references to the process of creating works outside the classroom, as well as providing an understanding for the wider community about the creation process carried out by artists, the life of the art studio as an activity space and also specific values related to the work," he said. 

Open studio is part of the learning process and experience sharing for the ISI Yogyakarta academic community which was previously carried out internally. (Vin)
