On November 27-30, 2023, a group of lecturers from the Faculty of Fine Arts & Design @isiyogyakarta_official collaborated with Tokyo University of Art @tokyo_geidai and Joshibi University of Art & Design @joshibi_official Tokyo. In addition to signing the MoU, a short presentation was also held at each of these universities.
Presentations of works in the form of fashion design, textile art, metal art crafts by students and lecturers of the Craft Department, then works of product design, interior, dkv from the Design Department, paintings, graphics, sculptures by the Fine Arts Department and two annotation catalogs of artists @lully_tutus and @galihjohar done by students of the Art Management Undergraduate Study Program @tks_isiyk also attracted intensive attention at Tokyo Geidai.
Another presentation was a 1.5 hour lecture on the craft of the archipelago by Dr. Alvi Lufiani, M.Sn. @kriyaisiyogyakarta_official. The lecture presented material on the various cultural works of the archipelago and was attended by students and lecturers at Joshibi University.
Hopefully this collaboration between the 3 universities will be useful for students, lecturers, alumni, and the people of both countries. The spirit of gaes.... who knows can go to Japan yes ... Blessings and appreciation awaited ...
