Definition Reactualization is the process, method, and action of re-actualizing; refreshing and renewing the values of community life.

Traditional Art is used as an object and source of study that can be seen from various perspectives including historical, anthropological, philosophical, as well as its media expression (fine art and design) and the role of technology that delivers it. Art Tradition is seen as the widest possible opportunity to be interpreted into new creative and innovative findings. Entering this third millennium era, a number of media developments as well as information and communication technology are the main characteristics that mark the changing times. Of course there will be syntheses that are worth new knowledge when Art Traditions come into contact with civilization and the development of media and technology in this millennium era. The questions that will be offered in this 2018 Academic Seminar agenda arehow to re-actualize Art Tradition in this millennium era? What is its contribution in science, technology and art and culture. This is the main point that the 2018 academic seminar agenda aims to achieve.

Through this seminar, it is hoped that there will be a synergy of knowledge from both speakers and participants so that the objectives of this academic seminar can be realized and be able to make scientific contributions to institutions and the public.
