Chris will talk about the history of Indonesian film interspersed with personal stories behind his collection of movie posters. The 500-odd sheets of poster archives will reveal the events, signs, and romantics of his time. The appeal of a movie is not only in its strong screenplay, actors, and dramaturgy, but also in the paintings and photographs on its posters. How are the intricacies, subtleties, and various narratives built from these A3-sized posters? Let's "watch" Indonesian movies through sheets that have now become valuable collectibles.
