Senate Commission

Senate of the Faculty of Fine Arts and Design, Institut Seni Indonesia Yogyakarta

Based on the Regulation of the Minister of Education, Culture, Research and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia Number 37 of 2024 concerning the Organization and Work Procedures of Institut Seni Indonesia Yogyakarta article 16 states that the Faculty Senate has the function of determining and considering academic implementation within the faculty. Based on the Chancellor's Decree Number 495/IT4/HK/2023, dated October 2, 2023 concerning Amendments to the Chancellor's Decree Number 445/IT4/HK/2203 dated August 29, 2023 concerning the Appointment of Members of the Senate of the Faculty of Fine Arts, Institut Seni Indonesia Yogyakarta for the Period 2021 - 2025.

The Faculty Senate consists of:

1. Dean and Vice Dean
2. Active professor
3. Non-professor Lecturer Representative
4. Other members in accordance with the Rector's Regulation

The main duties of the faculty senate are

1. Formulate faculty academic policies;
2. Formulate policies for assessing the academic performance and skills and personality of lecturers;
3. Formulate norms and benchmarks for the implementation of faculty administration;
4. Assessing the accountability of faculty leaders for the implementation of academic policies that have been determined as referred to in letter a; and
5. Give consideration to the Chancellor regarding the candidates proposed to be appointed as faculty leaders.

In carrying out its duties, the Faculty Senate forms a commission consisting of:

1. Commission I (Education and Student Affairs).
2. Commission II (General Administration and Finance).
3. Commission III (Code of Ethics and Cooperation).

Members of the Faculty Senate for the 2021-2025 period are: 22 people. The Faculty Senate holds a plenary meeting of the Faculty Senate once a month and holds a Faculty Senate working meeting at the end of each year; under certain conditions a special plenary meeting can be held.
