R.A. Kartini Commemoration 2013
R.A. Kartini is a National Hero who has a major role in the emancipation of her people and has a spirit that remains relevant in the formation of Excellent Women in order to accelerate the rise of Indonesian civilization.
In commemoration of R.A. Kartini's day, on Friday, May 3, 2013, Darmawanita ISI Yogyakarta displayed creativity and expertise in the field of cooking and art, namely the tumpeng and mewiru fabric decorating competitions, not only that the commemoration of R.A. Kartini's day which was held at the Multipurpose Building ISI Yogyakarta was enlivened by art performances from each Darmawanita Faculty and Rectorate. The Faculty of Recording Media Arts performed a situation comedy with the title ande-ande moss, the Faculty of Performing Arts performed line dance, the Faculty of Fine Arts and the Rectorate performed folk songs.
This is one of the efforts to realize the ideals of R.A. Kartini, that Indonesian women can work alongside men but do not leave their nature as women.
