Sleman, November 19, 2025 \u2013 The Nusantara Art Innovation Program (PISN) 2025 Community Service Team from the Indonesian Art Institute (ISI) Yogyakarta carried out a handover ceremony for production equipment to Avta Kebaya, a women's group with disabilities in Bokoharjo, Prambanan, Sleman. The handover took place at the Avta Kebaya Studio and was attended by representatives from the leadership of the Research and Community Service Institution (LPPM) of ISI Yogyakarta.
The equipment handed over includes a t-shirt sewing machine and production support tools, which will be used to increase the work capacity and product diversification of Avta Kebaya. This assistance is a continuation of previous activities such as branding, digital promotion, and fashion trend exploration training.
The equipment handover ceremony was attended by the Head of the Center for Innovation and Publishing of the LPPM ISI Yogyakarta, Riza Septriani Dewi, S.Ds., M.Ds.. The presence of the institution's leadership emphasizes ISI Yogyakarta's commitment to ensuring that community service programs do not stop at the training stage, but also provide real support in the form of production facilities.
The project implementation team leader, Amar Leina Chindany, S.Ds., M.Ds., stated that the facilities provided aim to strengthen the sustainability of the program.
\u201cThis equipment allows Avta Kebaya to independently implement the results of the mentoring. We want to ensure that capacity building is not only theoretical, but can actually be applied in the production process,\u201d he said.
Chinda added that further assistance will continue to be provided to ensure optimal use of the tools.
From the partner's side, Avta Kebaya representatives expressed appreciation for the trust and support of the production facilities that they did not previously have. Participants stated that the availability of the equipment would help them produce more products and develop new fashion models.
Through the handover of these facilities, Avta Kebaya now has a stronger foundation to grow as a community-based business unit for women with disabilities. This program also becomes a tangible form of ISI Yogyakarta's contribution in supporting the economic independence of vulnerable groups through the strengthening of design, technology, and business management.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
