Held from July 23\u201327, 2025, at Jogja Gallery, this event serves as a space for celebrating various forms of visual, craft, and performative expression that unite traditional values with contemporary creative language.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Under the theme \u201cMetaphor,\u201d this exhibition explores various symbolic narratives and visual interpretations that depict the complexity of identity, nature, and the human relationship with their environment. More than just an exhibition, Gama Metafora offers a series of engaging events that invite visitors to directly participate in the creative process:
July 23, 2025 \u2013 Opening Ceremony & Fashion Show
(12:00 PM - 8:00 PM Western Indonesian Time)
The exhibition opening was marked by a fashion show featuring conceptual fashion pieces that explored form, texture, and meaning.
July 24, 2025 \u2013 Live Mural
Live mural collaboration on the exhibition site that allows the public to witness the artistic creation process in real-time.
July 25, 2025 \u2013 Ceramic Workshop: Hand Building
Participants are invited to create ceramic artworks using direct hand-building techniques, exploring clay as a medium for personal expression.
\u2022 July 26, 2025 \u2013 Ecoprint Totebag Workshop
Combining art and environmental awareness, this workshop invites participants to create tote bags using natural leaf printing techniques.
\u2022 July 27, 2025 - Closing
The closing ceremony that unites reflection and appreciation for the entire exhibition process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Organized by the 2023 Kriya students with support from various sponsors and media partners, Gama Metafora serves as a platform for the growth of the art and culture ecosystem in Indonesia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Jogja Gallery will be a cross-disciplinary gathering space that facilitates dialogue between students, artisans, academics, and the general public in an inclusive and inspiring atmosphere.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
