Jakarta, on October 9-12, 2024, Jakarta Muslim Fashion Week (JMFW) 2025 was held at Convention Exhibition (ICE), Bumi Serpong Damai (BSD) City, Tangerang, Banten. The event carries the theme \"Mark Ink\" which aims to mark Indonesia in establishing itself as one of the influential countries in the world modest fashion industry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

JMFW 2025 is a prestigious event that brings together Muslim fashion designers from around the world. The participation of vocational education in JMFW has entered its third year and encourages the birth of young designer talents. This year, the JMFW 2025 Parade Show from the Directorate General of Vocational Education was held again at ICE BSD, Tangerang, Banten, on October 12, 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Apart from being a place to learn, the JMFW event is also a space for collaboration between vocational education units and industry. In the selection process, JMFW 2025 involved professional curators and industry partners from each vocational education unit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the Press Conference for the Opening of TEI 2024 and JMFW 2025 at ICE BSD on Wednesday (9\/4), Director of Business and Industry Alignment and Partnership (Mitras DUDI), Directorate General of Vocational Education, Adi Nuryanto, said that this year's selection process was even tighter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"There were more than 400 people who registered to show off on the JMFW stage. Initially filtered down to 50, then from the results of the curators, we chose 12 vocational education units,\" said Adi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The 12 vocational education units are SMKN 1 Salatiga, SMKN 3 Cimahi, SMKN 4 Banjarmasin, SMKN 3 Manokwari, SMKN 2 Temanggung, SMKN 1 East Bintan, SMKN 1 Pringapus, SMKN 1 Turen, SMKN 1 Pelaihari, SMKN 1 Tengaran, SMKN 6 Padang, and ISI Yogyakarta.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This year ISI Yogyakarta had another opportunity to participate in JMFW 2025 represented by Dina Karuniasari who displayed 6 outfits at the event. (Author: Septianti)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
