Are there any of you who are not familiar with the Student Creativity Program (PKM), or even just heard about it this time?
If you are a student or lecturer and don't know about PKM, you are missing out. Let's get closer here....!
PKM, a student competition that is quite prestigious and classy, because this program can be one of the flagship programs of a campus to show its greatness among other campuses throughout Indonesia, it can even be a showcase for university leaders. PKM is unique, different from other competition platforms because the requirements are not as easy as other competitions, so sometimes there are even those who call this competition complicated and difficult. Is this really the case? The key to PKM is to obey the rules, be disciplined, creative, and cooperative. Obeying the rules means that students must be able to obey all the things described in the PKM Guidelines. This obedience can be seen in the stage 1 assessment which forces students to be able to express idea plans with the team in a proposal about research, entrepreneurship, service, design, or video ideas. In fact, the PKM Incentive is directly seen from the ability of the student team to compile a scientific article. Written language skills are key, and ISI Yogyakarta students in PKM 2025 have proven that they can compete with non-art campuses. Stage 2 assessment looks at the ability of students to generate creative ideas that are packaged according to the provisions in each type of PKM Funding scheme. The key to discipline is one of the points that must be held because it correlates with the key to obeying the rules according to the PKM Guidelines in the applicable year. Cooperation means that this program will not be able to run if there is no harmonious cooperation between students, accompanying lecturers, college PKM teams, and college leaders.
A pride in itself, this PKM 2025 ISI Yogyakarta managed to upload 65 PKM proposals to Belmawa with details of 59 funding proposals and 6 incentive proposals. PKM Funding passed 6 proposal teams and PKM Incentives for now are still waiting for the assessment results, hopefully ISI Yogyakarta will also qualify. The six PKM Funding teams that passed came from 3 PKM-K (Entrepreneurship), 2 PKM-PM (Service), and 1 PKM-RSH (Social Humanities Research).
